8 MARCH 2018

The birthday celebration will be in three parts:

6.30pm -7.15pm : Entitled Rising Stars Take 2 a birthday concert featuring delightful and talented young musicians from the pre-tertiary music courses at the ANU Open School of Music. The first concert with the students from the course was held last year and was a huge success!

7.15pm-8pm: Celebratory bubbly and nibbles where we will have an official toast, a rousing rendition of ‘happy birthday’ and a birthday cake cutting. We hope to have a special guest to speak and ceremonially cut the cake.

8pm-9pm: Dr David Headon will deliver a special talk – Buried in Flowers, Lighting of Diya – Beyond the Griffin Gravesite – for and on behalf of the Walter Burley Griffin Society Canberra Chapter.

Members of the public are invited to share this event with The Friends of the Albert Hall and the Walter Burley Griffin Society
